Coupe et Couture is a bag-making company based in Cape Town, South Africa. True to our name, we cut the finest materials and sew the most beautiful bags.
We love crafting in leather and use only full-grain hides for our wallets and leather products. There is a discernible African influence in our designs and we enjoy vibrant prints such as the classic dashiki or traditional shweshwe - always 100% cotton. What makes us distinctive is the way we combine leather and fabric - we find they bring out the best in each other! 💕
We find ourselves inspired to create original designs and invite you along for the journey. The possibilities for your own 'quality bespoke bag' are endless: choose one of our wallets and have it laser engraved for that perfect gift; pick out a beautiful vegtan leather and match it with a rich linen for a tote bag; or you can create your own design - click 'Create' in the menu and start sharing what you have in mind.
